This week, I generated a podcast episode with the help of AI. I used ChatGPT to create this podcast episode script about the potential future of AI in 2050. I asked to structure it into four main parts based on the concepts of Ray Kurzweil's Technological Singularity and Buckminster Fuller's Knowledge Doubling Curve. Essentially, ChatGPT helped me with the tone (thought-provoking) and catchy phrases of each part of the script. However, I had to make some adjustments to add extra information and clarification regarding Kurzweil's and Fuller's theories. Specifically, it was interesting to see how it presented future predictions regarding Brain-Cloud Interfaces. Hello Everyone! This week, I learned about blockchain technology and Bitcoin. As I went through the lessons, I found many interesting information regarding cryptocurrency and the related technology. My general feelings towards Blockchain and Bitcoin are uncertain. Even though they provide numerous benefits of financial freedom, the high levels of risks make it difficult to consider as my financial investment. For now, I am not planning to use cryptocurrency; however, if it becomes more stable, I may consider using it in the future. I have created a digital book about Bitcoin. Hello Everyone! My topic for Current Trends in Technology is AI-generated artwork. The presentation discusses the overall effect of artificial intelligence on digital art. I explain its applications, such as how it is used in educational and professional environments. Then, I introduce the advantages and disadvantages of using AI-generated artwork and possible future implications. In conclusion, I discuss how I consider myself based on the Diffusion of Innovation and activity reflection. During the assignment process, I was able to gather more detailed information regarding the ethical concerns of using generative AI for creating artwork, and I believe that more guidelines and rules need to be implemented.
